1. Emile Durkheim has used the ideas of organic solidarity and mechanical solidarity. Mechanical solidarity suggests the social integration of the existing members of the society who usually have similar kinds of beliefs and values. Organic solidarity on the other hand, involves the social integration, which is stimulated from the exact need of the individuals for the services of one another (Gofman, 2014). In the organic solidarity society, there is a perfect division of labor, which is absent in mechanical solidarity. In the mechanical solidarity, the society often forces its members to cooperate just like the internal energies.
